This course consists of multiple modules to prepare you to evaluate and manage single or multiple trauma victims following a disaster or violent encounter.

----Evaluation of the injured patient-----

Triage and organizing mass casualties

Initial management of traumatic injuries with or without formal equipment.

-Tourniquet standard and improvised

-Wound packing

-Pressure dressings to include difficult areas.

-Basic airway

-Chest, abdomen, head and neck wounds.

-Moving patients with or without formal equipment

Evacuation considerations and priorities.

-----Additional modules can include----

-Advanced airway

-Casualty Care using military algorithms adapted to fit your setting.

-Fighting while shot (How to shoot, move and communicate while managing injuries to self)

-Suture, standard and austere.

-Austere definitive wound care

-Amputation and tendon repair.

-Austere fracture management

-Burns

-Snakebite

-Heat and Cold weather injuries

-Prolonged austere care, ruck, truck, and house

-Working in and around vehicles.
