Vehicles and Barriers

TIME AND LOCATION:

9AM to 4PM. 

7407 Highland Ave, Grants Pass, OR 97526

COURSE SUMMARY:

This course is designed to enhance understanding of use of firearms in/around vehicles and barriers. Shooting through windshields, engaging targets inside and outside of vehicles. Understanding what actually stops bullets and what doesn't. This is not a stand online flat range course. Expect moderate to high physical demand.

THIS COURSE INCLUDES:

• Mindset and safety considerations,

• Working in close proximity to vehicles and barriers,

• Fighting from a vehicle,

• Exiting vehicle under fire,

• Ballistics study,

• Shooting throught/into windshields,

• Individual movement techniques,

• Team movement Techniques,

PRE-REQUISITES:

Shooters must show the basic skills of safe gun handling, Provide a CHL, Military/LEO/Security credentials.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

•Handgun and/or Carbine,

•Holster and/or Sling,

•Ammunition (min. 300 training ammo),

•Magazines W/ carrier (3 preferred),

•Eye and Ear protection,

•Elbow and knee pads (suggested, not required),

•Suitable range attire,

•Notebook and pen,

•Sunscreen,

•Hydration.
